Get Fresh in the Valley

With spring in the air, Niagara wine country is getting ready to host one of its most popular passport events. Get Fresh in the Valley features the wineries of the Twenty Valley, each offering a wine tasting and delicious food pairing for guests.

This event is in the same spirit of organized touring that brought us Wrapped Up in the Valley in autumn, but features a fresh twist to get consumers excited about the summer of wine loving ahead. New vintages are already hitting the shelves, so the bounty of 2012 can be enjoyed. This time of year represents bud burst in the Niagara wine industry, so the sense of all things new will be alive at each location with the promise of another successful vintage ahead.

Your touring passport gets you more than wine and food – it gives you the opportunity to indulge in a few experiences along the way. First, the designated driver is well looked after at each stop with the inclusion of mocktails by Cherry Lane.  On top of that, Saturday passport holders will be able to stop by the Watering Can in Vineland to create a Fresh Flower European Arrangement for free between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
