“From the artwork, to the runway, to the music and lighting, STRUTT is a puzzle with many pieces.” – Deanna Jones
Speaking of many pieces, there have been over 300 pieces since STRUTT: The Wearable Art Expo started over 10 years ago. On November 15, there will be a photography exhibit that shows off some of the best captured photos by local photographer Brian Yungblut. There will also be photos from other Niagara Artist’s Centre members. If you love art, this is definitely something you want to check out.
The big night will be November 16 with a flash and pop of Niagara’s orchestrated collision of art, performance, and music. There will be spectacles of all kinds that will spin your head into oddball orbit. There will even be a live score by The Sadies, crown princes of Trans-Canadian cosmic rock. Take a look at some of the spectacular pieces of previous years!
The proceeds of STRUTT support the Niagara Artist’s Centre, an organization that supports the artist community in Niagara. The NAC is located on St. Paul St. in St. Catharines, where many gallery shows and events take place in the same spirit of support throughout the year.
