We had mentioned in an article, back in March, that Mike Holmes would be partnering with Niagara’s very own Rinaldi Homes and now is your chance to meet him in person. Holmes will be visiting the Coyle Creek Estates development in Welland on Saturday, September 28 from 1 – 5pm to celebrate the opening of their brand new townhomes. One of the craziest concepts for the new site, that you can learn about this weekend, is the use of “PinkWood”.
Developed in Canada, PinkWood is lumber that has been coated with PinkShield. It is a water based, non-toxic, low VOC compound that helps delay fire ignition and simultaneously slows down the burning process. It also has a couple secondary benefits that include resisting mould growth and minimizing moisture exposure.
If you are someone who loves “Holmes on Homes”, this is something you definitely want to check out! You can also check out the many other additions in a Mike Holmes approved home here.
