If you love food wine or beer, then the Niagara Food and Wine Expo is something you do not want to miss. From May 2 – 4, the Scotiabank Convention Centre will offer visitors wonderful wines, bountiful beers, exotic spirits and flavourful gourmet fare from Niagara and around the world!
“Craft beer is exploding in popularity throughout North America so we put a huge focus on getting the hottest microbrews from Ontario at this year’s expo,” said the show manager, Jennifer Campbell.
There will be an incredible selection of beers from breweries like Niagara College Brewery, Lake of Bays Brewery, Flying Monkey and Highlander Brew Co.
“Niagara wineries are always a big draw for Expo attendees and this year we will have a wide array of different local wineries all under one roof,” said Campbell. For the wine enthusiasts, there will be wineries such as Hernder Estates, Pondview Estates, GreenLane Estate and Pelee Island Winery.
Visitors can also expand their wine knowledge at the Tasting Stage that hosts 30 minute wine tasting classes. The Chef Stage will have ongoing cooking demonstrations by notable celebrities and certified chefs. If you find cocktails more interesting, then the Cocktail Zone should be one of your stops, you will be able to sample some of the hottest drinks, shots or ceasars!
This year will be the biggest expo yet and has everything that’s needed to tickle your taste buds.
