From delectable treats served up by local restaurants to free live music performances, Pelham’s second annual Summerfest was a huge hit. Drawing eager visitors from around the peninsula and beyond, this popular new festival was a great way to beat the heat and have some serious summer fun. With the main street blocked from noon until midnight, revelers had free reign to kick back and enjoy the best of the season!
With performances that ranged from rock to country, to celtic to Elvis impersonator Gino Monopoli, there was something to keep everyone dancing all day and all night too!
The four day festival kicked off with a concert in the Bandshell, Thursday night, complemented by the Peace Park’s wine and beer garden on both Thursday and Friday evenings. Culture lovers enjoyed the chance to view Art in the Park on all four days, and savoured the creativity of Pelham’s edition of Niagara Nights of Art on Friday night. Sunday wrapped up the festivities with a Family Walk and a Community Brunch.
