A night of culinary excitement that features the ultimate culinary competition showcasing colleges from across the province: The Battle of Ontario! Indulge in a night of gastronomy with the decadent theme of chocolate and Icewine!

Your evening will begin with a glass of Niagara VQA Sparkling Wine, an exquisite beginning for a night of ultimate indulgence. Sample an array of food prepared by our competitors and help to decide the grand champions of the evening as you will cast your vote for best dish. Your evening will be guided by the inclusion of celebrity chefs including Top Chef Canada winner Carl Heinrich and Food Network Celebrity Chef Anna Olson.

The night will culminate in the announcement of the Grand Champions, where indeed a toast will be in order. Your glasses will be graced by the vinous portfolio of Inniskillin and, of course, the wines of our award winning Niagara College Teaching Winery. Featured in addition will be beers crafted especially for the Decadence Gala by the students of our Niagara College Teaching Brewery.

The entertainment for the evening will extend beyond the exceptional cuisine to live entertainment, the captured excitement of the International Student Pastry Competition, and the sipping, savouring, and sampling of the night’s decadent gastronomy!

Each guest has one ticket with which they will vote for their favourite dish to determine the winner of the Battle of Ontario.
