There are a few wineries with a tongue-in-cheek sense of humour that provide one h-e-double hockey sticks of a good time for winery lovers in the month of April.  For the last several years Featherstone Estate Winery, Flat Rock Cellars and Fielding Estate Wines have played host to the F’ing Winery Tour… no kidding!

This unique and exclusive winery passport program has a cult-like following of wine lovers with excellent senses of humour. For $12.00 plus HST you get to hit up three of Niagara’s hottest wineries for a sensory experience that will have you wishing there were more wineries that start with F!

Your passport gets you two wine tastings per winery and some fine fromage from a Canuck fromagerie with a locally sourced and crafted condiment. Sounds like an F’ing good time!

Wines: 2012 Rose $14.95, 2008 Pinot Noir $24.95

Pairing:
Ermite Bleu cheese on crostini topped with Niagara Presents Tart Cherry Preserve

Fielding Estate Winery
Wines: 2012 Sauvignon Blanc $18.95, 2011 Cabernet Franc $21.95

Pairing:
Cows Creamery Aged Cheddar on crostini topped with Killer Condiments Muskoka Cranberry Compote.

Flat Rock Cellars
Wines: 2010 Pinot Noir $19.95, 2010 Nadja’s Vineyard $19.95

Pairing:
Natural Pastures Aged Farmhouse cheese on crostini topped with Red Pepper Jelly from Yum.
