A summer in Niagara isn’t complete with a zip down the waterfront to a lakefront community with plenty of personality. Port Colborne will play host to its annual celebration of marine heritage with Canal Days running from August 2 – 5 in the city’s downtown core.
The celebration will showcase the Tall Ships that will sail into the port town offering attendees the opportunity to explore the decks, stand at the helm or experience the lake breeze as you cruise Lake Erie aboard the majestic vessels. There is plenty more to enjoy with family activities, live music, street food and busker-style entertainment throughout the city streets.
Previous years have seen more than 300,000 attendees and the 2013 celebration promises to be their best yet. Listed below are some highlights we think should be on your “must-see” list of attractions.
