Canal Bank Shuffle Blues Festival Bigger Than Ever

The Canal Bank Shuffle Blues Festival will be bigger than ever this year with an enthusiastic 38 shows over just four days! From October 16 – 19, 35 bands will flock to Thorold, Ontario to put on some amazing performances that are sure to amaze attendees.

Here are some bands you will not want to miss:

Bob Margolin with Donnie Walsh

One of the biggest highlights for the Blues Festival will definitely be the two legends, Bob Margolin and Donnie Walsh, sharing the same stage. This will be the first time that two blues musicians of this status have played together on the main stage. This will be a once in a lifetime show

Maria Muldaur

Known from her incredible hit “Midnight at the Oasis”, which peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100, Maria will be lighting up the stage for the Blues Festival’s 13th year. She is currently celebrating her fifth decade of musical magic and is on tour with her “Way Past Midnight” tour.

Jarekus Singleton

Jarekus Singleton is an incredible up-and-comer with roots in rap, rock and blues. He recently played at the Memphis IBC’s and awed fans with an incredible display that landed him a contract with Alligator Records.
