The harsh winter storms seem to be behind us, you would be hard pressed to find a single ounce of snow. This in itself is very exciting, but what makes it even better is that Spring seems to be a little more real now. What better way to get into the new growth spirit than with celebrating Easter with the family. There will be plenty of chocolate and bunnies this weekend and we’ve compiled some exciting events for you to check out!

Jaycee Easter Egg Hunt

Jaycee-EasterJCI St.Catharines (Jaycees) is proud to present the 28th annual St. Catharines Easter Egg Hunt.
This is an incredible event for kids, with over 50,000 Easter eggs, bouncy castles, live music, great food and much more!

Non-perishable food and/or monetary donations will be collected in support of Community Care St. Catharines-Thorold.

Easter Festival at Heartland Forest – A Multicultural Celebration

Heartland-Forest-EasterIt’s time for our annual Easter Festival! Enjoy Easter fun as we celebrate with the Americas and the Caribbean! See flags from all over and demonstrations of music and dance of different cultures, Easter treats from different countries and more! Enjoy free crafts and entertainment, door prizes, face painting and even a free group dance lesson! You can even pet live bunny rabbits. April 4th from 11am to 4pm. Free admission.

Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse Easter Display

The Easter show features a cross display of lilies surrounded by colourful and fragrant spring flowers such as daffodils, tulips, hyacinths and azaleas. Live chicks, bunnies and songbirds.
