The Niagara Literary Arts Festival is a hosted across the Niagara Region over a series of several weeks and consists of several free or nearly free literary events for the public to attend. The goal of this event was to expand Niagara’s awareness of Canadian literary excellence, and has, in turn, brought some of the country’s most impressive authors to the region.

Run by Jordan Fry and Priscilla Brett, their respective careers demonstrate a passion for the literary arts that is deeply rooted in their professional lives. Fry is the managing editor of Grey Borders Magazine and founder of the Grey Borders Reading Series. In addition he manages a popular blog title Virus Readings and sits on the Niagara Falls Arts and Culture Committee. Brett is also a supporter and professional within the literary arts with a history of artistic endeavours that have drawn her appreciation of the craft. She has written a book of poetry titled God, Death and the Universe and is currently working on a second mini chapbook series.
