Everything seems to be doubling for the SCENE Music Festival this year. The popular music event will now be running for two days and will be moving the festivities to Montebello Park which will see its capacity grow from 5,000 to 10,000. With this new growth, there will also be some incredible head liners such as Mathew Good, The Sheepdogs and Monster Truck on June 28, then Marianas Trench, The Arkells and Lights on June 29.

SCENE started in 1996 with only 800 showgoers, but has expanded over the years to 5,000 in 2013, becoming one of Canada’s biggest one day music festivals. Since it started, SCENE has helped bands such as Billy Talent, Alexisonfire, and Bedouin Soundclash get the exposure they needed to make it big.
