The sun has set and the street lights flicker on, helping to accentuate the shadows you barely noticed before. You see something move in the darkness, was it real or just in your head? Your heart begins to race as your skin chills. Everyone likes to be frightened once in a while, so here is a list of events that are sure to leave you terrified.

Ghost Tours of Fort George
(Oct. 24, 25, 26, 30, 31 and Nov. 1 & 2)
Fort George Ghost Tour

Get ready for an exploration of the scariest aspects of haunted Fort George in Niagara-on-the-Lake. This 2-hour walking tour includes stories too frightening to be told on the summer tours, and opens a building (the Officers’ Quarters) that is usually off limits during the summer ghost tours.
All tickets: $17.00. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Reserve your tickets by calling the Gift Shop at 905-468-6621.

Aquarium of Niagara’s Annual Haloween Happenings
(Oct. 25 at 4 – 7 pm)

Expect spooky family fun for when Halloween Happenings comes to the Aquarium of Niagara, 701 Whirlpool Street in Niagara Falls. There will be plenty of seasonal excitement including a pumpkin treasure hunt, trick-or-treat stations, a Halloween craft table, and a special Halloween themed sea lion show at 4:30 and 6:00PM.

Special trophies will be awarded to those voted “Best Aquatic Costume,” and “Best Overall Costume.” Costumes are welcomed and encouraged!

Nightmares Fear Factory

World Famous Nightmares Fear Factory is Niagara Falls scariest & best haunted house attraction and one of the most fun things to do in Niagara Falls Canada for family, kids, friends, and couples. Visit…if you dare!

Featuring nightly performances from renown Illusionist Edward Stone live on stage in the Midway at 8:30pm.

(November 1 at 9 pm)

This Halloween, get ready for a night of mayhem you’ll never forget. Market Square will be turned into a living, breathing Freak Show with decor like no other, live performances, International DJ talent, and 1000+ students dressed up for the biggest and wildest Halloween party St.Catharines has ever seen.
