Downtown Niagara Falls is a happening location as of late with big investment in innovative business, culture as a capital element of their new developments and a city of residents who are hungry for local happenings in their backyard. The demand has again been met with Springlicious Beer, Wine and Food Festival.

This three-day event takes place from May 31st to June 2 and promises to be a celebration of all things gastronomic complimented with lots of local talent and vendors. In fact, Queen Street will be shut down and open to foot traffic only!

Here is a sampling of what you can indulge on this fun weekend of family friendly activities:

Live Musical Performances:

Friday May 31st

5:00 – 7:30
Cottage Brew
A five-piece cottage rock band from Niagara Falls, these local musicians travel across the province with their unique brand of Canadian music. From their Facebook page: “When buying a used car, punch the buttons on the radio. If all the stations are rock and roll, there’s a good change the transmission is shot.” – L. Lujack
With a quote like that, we think this could be a must attend live music experience!

Kiss Tribute by Sonic Boom
The rock n roll continues into the night with Sonic Boom and their signature Kiss Tribute act. Full dress and makeup is the name of the game when it comes to this quartet that covers with stunning accuracy!

Saturday June 1st

1:00 – 4:30
Heads Up Lincoln
A five-piece band of Niagara Falls natives, this rock outfit will be what everyone is talking about!

5:00 – 8:00
Donkey Punch
Dedicated to keeping the dance floor packed, you can be sure that lively entertainment is on the agenda when you check out the Donkey Punch set at Springlicious! Diversity in musical style makes this quintet of rock-musicians the ultimate entertainers.. don’t miss this show!

8:30 – 11:00
Pearl Jam Tribute by Rearview Mirror
Relive your 90’s grunge era love affair with Rearview Mirror as the croon the rock ballads that still hit the airwaves to mass appeal.

Sunday June 2nd

2:00 – 5:00
Patsy and the Muscle
A brother duo from Niagara Falls who perform an acoustic electric set with many more instruments than men! Their instrumental arsenal includes vocals, guitar, mandolin, harmonica and djembe. They draw a crowd at local establishments all year round, this is surely a performance to check out!
